About Us

Founded by cat enthusiast Janel Peach, the Cuddly Cat Café has a single mission to build a space that is part café, part cat-and-human oasis. Whether an individual is unable to own a cat, has a stressful and lonesome urban life, and/or would like to experience the benefits of owning one, they will be able to relax, have a coffee, and pet cats. Enjoy the very first cat café of Los Angeles.

"Research has shown that cats, among other pets such as dogs, help with anxiety and depression," says Peach. "Pets provide unconditional, uncomplicated relationships as well as social comfort. A cat café offers exactly that for those who are unable to own cats."

The concept of cat cafés originates from Taiwan, where customers can enjoy a hot beverage while spending quality time with these friendly felines. But the Cuddly Cat Café gives the opportunity of adoption with its foster-based program in hopes that its kittens, brought in from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), will find forever families.

*Disclaimer: We're sorry. As wonderful as the idea is, this cat café does not exist. This is a project for the class, but feel free to browse!
